Societies of the Vampyre Council


The Blood Red Society  
Dispensing physical justice. Specializes in combat and fighting in general. Members are trained in hand to hand combat, weaponry and tactics. A black or red teardrop tattoo on the neck or next to the eye.

Based in Los Angeles.

Members known as “Warriors


The Black Society   
Undercover “research”. Specializes in spying and infiltrating human and vampire groups that are suspected of threatening vampire existence. Members do not have any tattoo indicating membership of the Black Society.

Based in London.

Members known as “Vanguards


The Society of Intimate Scales  
Study cases and decide punishments Two black squares in a visible place, usually the finger, inside wrist, neck or face.

Based in Paris.

Members known as “Judges


The List Society  
Ensure close adherence to security and legal requirements Black horizontal lines tattooed somewhere visible.

Based in Moscow.

Members known as “Facilitators


Society Ranks and Pre-requisites
Overlord – handpicked, in charge of all national society centres and policy
Manager – handpicked, in charge of regional society centres
Coordinator – handpicked, in charge of society centres
Proctor – 5 years plus and handpicked
Trainee – 5 years plus
Inductee – 1 year and exam

All Overlords are members of the Vampyre Council, that meets every year in a different country. Any vampire can be called to appear before the Vampyre Council. Failure to appear results in expulsion from the vampire community and withdrawal of all rights to exist and thrive as a vampire and coven. The Council can also meet where and when they so choose in addition to their annual council meeting. All records of Council decisions are kept securely by the Vampyre Council Warden.
